CUBEL RANCH
Living Along the Historic Old Spanish Trail

Our gelded, Utah's Native Sulphur Horses for sale. All have been gentled and broke to ride

Cubel Ranch had a horrible year for our horses. We had a total Hay crop failure in 2011. The first cutting was eaten by the Alfalfa Weevil, even as we were baling or feeding the horses, the weevil was still there eating away at our usually lush alfalfa. The next cutting didn't get cut at all. We had 6 foot tall Amaranth weeds growing in the ditch rows. We could not water and we could not cut.  The Horses are eating "standing hay". These are full size (14hh), adult horses:

Dad, Stallion

Momma Mares

We are these horses first owners, other than the breeder. We are reluctantly selling three of our rare and unique Utah's Native Sulphur Horses. They are registered: American Sulphur Horse Association (ASHA) and Sulphur Springs Horse Registry (SSHR) in Cedar City, Utah. We're asking $1000 for each, plus Vet tests. If you can not afford the entire amount, we will work with you on time payments. When the purchase price is paid in full, then you will be able to take the horse home.

Charm

Charm is a ranch born gelding, (1999). Mom was a Palomino Fox Trotter and dad was a Utah Sulphur. Charm has been with a trainer, he is green broke to ride. His first owners "home schooled" Charm. He has been haltered, saddled and ridden.

Nutz

Nutz is a ranch born, gelding, (Mar. 2000). His mom was an Arizona Mustang and dad was a Utah Sulphur. Nutz has been to school in 2005, he is green broke to ride. His trainer said that he is a gentle fellow. Nutz is not a pony, but a full size short Spanish-type horse.  Nutz looks like the horses that are painted on the walls in France. We have always loved him and his gentle temperament.

Tiger

Tiger, knows his name, comes when called. Tiger, is a gelding, Spanish Utah's Native Horse. His mom was an adopted Utah Wild Conger and dad was a Wild Utah Sulphur Mustang on the open range. Tiger was ranch born April 25, 1996, his Conger mom was PG, when she was adopted. Tiger has been to school about six (6) years ago for an extra course of schooling. The original owner, from Fillmore, Utah, rode Tiger in cattle competitions. Tiger is a horse for the an experienced rider.
